Mo'taz Hamoush, a Syrian refugee based in Jordan, began studying the art of engraving and mosaics when he was only 13. Today, he creates beautiful beautiful hand-made pieces of furniture and decorative arts with mother-of-pearl and tin-thread. Meet Us on the Abraham Path finds this master woodworker in his Turquoise Mountain studio. Salma Al Qatawneh, Head of Design and Production at Turquoise Mountain joins us to translate for the artist, and tell us about the organization's important work in cultural heritage preservation.
