A gentle, environmental Sherlock Holmes, Vivien Sansour works with farmers to propagate and recover threatened varieties of fruits and vegetables. She founded the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library in the UNESCO-protected village of Battir in order to propagate public awareness of Palestinian agricultural heritage and global biodiversity. This trained anthropologist is currently a Fellow at the Religion, Conflict, and Peace Initiative at Religion and Public Life at the Harvard Divinity School. which co-hosts this webinar.
